PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bush cutter which includes a release switch with improved operability, the release switch for releasing a drive switch of the bush cutter from an ON-operation disabled mode to an ON-operation enabled mode.SOLUTION: A bush cutter 10 includes: a rotary blade 23 provided at a front end of an operation rod 11; a motor 22 which rotatingly drives the rotary blade 23; a grip 42 which is provided on an outer periphery of the operation rod 11 and is gripped by an operator; a drive switch 43 provided on the grip 42 for driving the motor 22; and a release switch 45 provided on the grip 42 for releasing the drive switch 43 from an ON-operation disabled mode to an ON-operation enabled mode. The release switch 45 is provided at an opposite position of a position where the drive switch 43 of the grip 42 is provided with respect to a radial direction of the operation rod 11 so as to be rotatable about an axis parallel to an axis direction of the operation rod 11 between a non-release position of the ON-operation disabled mode and a release position of the ON-operation enabled mode. |
