PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL display device that enables both a unique design and a cost reduction by a large quantity with fewer types, which makes it possible to cope with a small quantity with more types.SOLUTION: A display panel 5 comprises a three-layer structure comprising: an organic EL panel 21 that is made from an organic EL material and emits light from itself by supply of power; a design plate 22 that is arranged in front of the organic EL panel 21 in layers and partially has design parts 24 that are open for forming a specific design by light passed to the front of the organic EL panel 21; and a polarization plate 23 that is arranged in front of the design plate 22 in layers. Simply by suitably modifying the open position of the design parts 24 of the design plate 22 and the shape of the design(the open shape), various designs can be achieved. As a result, both a unique design and a cost reduction by a large quantity with fewer types, which makes it possible to cope with a small quantity with more types. |
