PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method effective for ameliorating the retardation of a carbonyl compound production speed accompanying the transfer of noble metal components into a liquid phase.SOLUTION: The provided method for manufacturing a carbonyl compound is a method for manufacturing a carbonyl compound including a reaction step of generating a carbonyl compound by reacting a to-be-carbonylated raw ingredient with carbon monoxide within a liquid phase including a solid catalyst obtained by supporting a noble metal complex on a resin carrier including quaternized nitrogen, a distillation step of recovering a vapor phase fraction including the carbonyl compound by distilling the reaction product liquid from the reaction step, and a circulation step of circulating, to the reaction step, the bottom product from the distillation step where nitrogen compounds included within the bottom product are removed by contacting at least a portion of the bottom product with an acidic cation exchange resin, the noble metal complex captured by an oligomer adsorbed on the ion exchange resin is subsequently extracted by contacting, with the ion exchange resin, a liquid having a water concentration higher than that of the bottom product, and the extracted noble metal complex is returned to the reaction step. |
