<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for a tread of a tire for a passenger car, which can improve wear resistance performance and processability in a good balance while maintaining low fuel consumption performance, and to provide a tire for passenger car having a tread using the rubber composition.SOLUTION: The rubber composition for a tread of a tire for a passenger car comprises a rubber component including an isoprene rubber by 5 mass% or more, a styrene butadiene rubber by 10 to 90 mass%, and a butadiene rubber by 5 to 40 mass%, in which the isoprene rubber comprises a low-gelation natural rubber having a magnesium content of 20 ppm or less and a gel content of 10 mass% or less measured as a toluene-insoluble content. A tire for a passenger car is provided, which has a tread formed from the above rubber composition.</p> |
