MOTOR FOR VACUUM-CLEANER

The present invention relates to a motor for vacuum cleaners. A technical challenge desired to be overcome is to combine a rotor and a stator in symmetrical cone shapes; to rotate the rotor without a bearing in the motor while maintaining an air gap generated by a repulsive force between the rotor and the stator; and to enable the rotor to have a hollow shaft, thereby generating an air suction force through an impeller installed inside the rotor. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the motor for vacuum cleaners includes a rotor and a stator. For the rotor, two cone-shaped rotary bodies having a hollow shaft are symmetrically arranged facing each direction; an impeller is installed on the inner circumferential surface; a plurality of insertion holes are formed at regular intervals on the outer circumferential surface; and a plurality of permanent magnets are inserted into the insertion holes to be combined. For the stator, two cone-shaped stationary bodies having a hollow shaft are symmetrically arranged facing each direction, and the rotor is inserted into the stator. The stator includes: a plurality of teeth protruding from the inner surface of the stationary bodies in order to form a plurality of slots; a plurality of tooth heads extended from the teeth, and having an enlarged width at a portion facing the outer circumferential surface of the rotor; and a stator coil wound around the teeth and partially arranged in the slots. The stator coil is wound around the teeth in a manner that has an identical polarity with the permanent magnets; therefore the rotor is rotated by a repulsive force between the permanent magnet and the stator coil wound around the teeth at the power-receiving side.
