PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic transmission apparatus capable of shortening execution time of an in-gear operation while improving reliability of the operation of a speed-change stage in the case of including two wet clutches, improving merchantability.SOLUTION: An automatic transmission apparatus includes: two wet clutches for connecting and shutting between an internal combustion engine and two input shafts; a synchronization mechanism for setting a forward first stage and a reverse stage in in-gear and neutral; and an ECU. The ECU executes: controlling a motor so as to decrease a reverse rotation difference and then putting the reverse stage in-gear when a clutch-side excess-flow failure occurs (steps 11, 12); controlling the motor so as to decrease a ring gear speed after putting the reverse stage in-gear; then controlling to set the forward first stage in-gear (steps 14, 15); and connecting the second clutch after the forward first stage is set in-gear (step 4). |
