PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power demand suppression system that can utilize an existing demand monitor apparatus and eliminate necessity of reducing or blocking power supply to a load, and to provide a control apparatus capable of constructing the same.SOLUTION: The control apparatus 1 outputs a first switching signal for blocking power supply from a power line 4 to a load apparatus 5 from a switching signal output terminal section 13 when an alarm signal is input from a demand monitor apparatus 3; outputs a start signal for starting a power storage apparatus 7 from a first signal output terminal section 14; outputs, from the switching signal output terminal section 13, a second switching signal for restarting power supply from the power line 4 to the load apparatus 5; and outputs a stopping signal for stopping the power storage apparatus 7 from the first signal output terminal section 14. |
