PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a twisted cable production device in which electric wire edge treatment and twisting are performed by one apparatus, and tact time is short, and the like.SOLUTION: Provided is a twisted cable production device 1 comprising: a drawing apparatus 300 of drawing the top parts of a plurality of electric wires subjected to edge treatment; and a twisting apparatus 400 for electric wires in which both the edge parts have been subjected to edge treatment. The top parts of the electric wires cut after being drawn by the drawing apparatus 300 are delivered to a clamp 410 of a top rotary unit 400A by a delivering apparatus 600. A tail part is delivered to the clamp part 410 of a tail rotary unit 400B by a delivering apparatus 700 after edge treatment. The clamp 410 of each rotary unit is rotated, and further, the mutual spacing of both the clamps and tension of being applied to the electric wires are adjusted. At this time, the tension is applied by stretching the edge parts of the electric wires, and further, either clamp is moved in accordance with the shrinkage allowance of each electric wire, thus twisting can be performed while maintaining each electric wire with suitable tension. |
