<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode manufacturing device and an electrode manufacturing method capable of manufacturing an electrode in which adhesion strength of an insulation layer to a metallic core body foil is improved.SOLUTION: Disclosed is an electrode manufacturing device 1 which manufactures a positive electrode 17 in which an insulation layer 18 is provided in a peripheral edge 16A of a positive electrode mixture 16 formed in a metallic core body foil 15 on the positive electrode side. This device includes: melting means 20 for melting an insulation material forming the insulation layer; provision means 30 for providing the metallic core body foil on the positive electrode side with thermal energy; and application means 40 for applying the insulation material melted by the melting means to the metallic core body foil on the positive electrode side, whose surface is reformed by the provision means.</p> |
