<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constantly and smoothly cool a hot air valve.SOLUTION: A hot air valve cooling device provided in a hot air channel of a hot air valve includes a flow volume regulation valve V provided in a downstream channel 14 near a coolant outlet of the hot air valve. With this configuration, even if an opening of the flow volume regulation valve V is made extremely narrow or the flow volume regulation valve V is completely closed, coolant is continuously supplied to a cooling channel of a valve element 1b and a valve box of the hot air valve and the hot air valve is filled with the coolant, so that the filled coolant can smoothly cool the hot air valve. At this time, the flow volume regulation valve V, which is constituted by a fixed porous plate and a porous orifice plate, regulates a flow volume as the orifice plate moves up/down relative to the fixed porous plate. This flow volume regulation using the many valve pores hardly causes cavitation. Furthermore, an action of cooling the hot air valve does not stop since the flow volume regulation valve V is not completely closed even in a valve closing limitation state but the coolant of a required flow volume flows. A coolant flow volume regulated by the flow volume regulation valve V is set to a preset target flow volume based on an open/close signal for the hot air valve.</p> |
