<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic sensor-based apparatus for identifying coin-shaped detection objects which is capable of identifying the outer diameter, construction material, and thickness of a detection object while allowing structural simplification thereof.SOLUTION: An apparatus for identifying coin-shaped detection object comprises: an excitation coil 8; a first detection coil 9 and a second detection coil 10; a core body 11; a bobbin 21 having a first coil winding part forming the first detection coil 9; and a bobbin 22 having a second coil winding part forming the second detection coil 10. A second core 13 constituting the core body 11 has protrusion parts 13a to 13c projecting toward a first core 12, the protrusion parts 13a to 13c being disposed within inner peripheral sides of a bobbin 20, and the protrusion part 13c being disposed within an inner peripheral side of the bobbin 21. At least a part of the second coil winding part of the bobbin 22 is disposed within the first coil winding part of the bobbin 21.</p> |
