<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication system in which an access point and a radio terminal that connects to the access point autonomously determine a frequency channel that is not affected by interference of other radio stations near them before the system starts to operate. <P>SOLUTION: The radio communication system includes an access point and a radio terminal that connects to the access point.
