PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous secondary battery positive electrode which includes, on surfaces of particles of a positive electrode active material or between the particles, polymer having a molecular structure including pendant groups, and which enables the formation of a nonaqueous secondary battery having superior cycle characteristics and arranged so that the deterioration when a high voltage is applied thereto is suppressed.SOLUTION: A positive electrode active material comprises a lithium complex oxide having a lamellar crystal structure. The lithium complex oxide includes at least one element selected from Ni and Co, and at least one element selected from a group consisting of Mg, Mn, Al, Ti, Sr, Zr, Nb, Mo and Ba. In the positive electrode active material, of constituent elements except lithium and oxygen, the total amount of Ni and Co is 60-99.7 mol%. |
