<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bookbinding system which can adhere one sheet to the other one by using only the toner image for adhesion, while achieving both cost reduction and energy-saving in equipment. <P>SOLUTION: This bookbinding system includes an image-forming section 10 for forming toner images on a sheet P, a fixing device 20 for fixing those toner images on the sheet P, and a sheet loading section 40 for loading a number of sheets P passed through the fixing device 20 to form a sheet bundle for filing and binding the sheet bundle loaded on the sheet loading section 40 into a brochure. Additionally, this bookbinding system includes a toner-image-for-adhesion forming means for forming an unfixed toner image for adhesion Y on an end of the sheet P which serves as a dorsal area when the brochure is bound, and a heating means 60 for heating a toner image for adhesion Y formed on each sheet of the sheet bundle loaded on the sheet loading section 40, wherein a heat source 21a of the fixing device 20 is also used as a heat source of the heating means 60. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
