PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a drain port cover composed of a cover body covering the drain port and a shank with a weight is difficult to be fitted as the weight strikes on a rib, easy to come off the drain port as the shank is not fixed even if the weight is installed, and cannot always cover the drain port, in a washing and hand washing basin formed with a cross-shaped, a Y-shaped, or an I-shaped rib inside the drain port. SOLUTION: In the washing and hand washing basin formed with the cross-shaped, the Y-shaped, or the I-shaped rib inside the drain port, the drain port cover is composed of a cover body covering the drain port and a supporting shank suspended from the cover body, and formed with a notch groove equipped to the rib in the drain port. An inlet of at least one notch groove is made to be slightly narrower than rib width in the drain port. The drain port cover in the drain port is introduced by the guiding of the supporting shank, and the rib is inserted in the inlet of the notch groove which is guided and made to be narrow, thereby preventing the drain port cover from coming off at the narrowed inlet.
