PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive valve device, which has a simple structure of fastening and fixing a valve shaft 4 and a butterfly valve 5 with a screw and is easily assembled, and nevertheless, is not demanded for high accuracy to each structural component nor requires severe process control. SOLUTION: The valve shaft 4 and the butterfly valve 5 are firmly coupled and the butterfly valve 5 is prevented from shifting by making use of the condition that both of the valve shaft 4 and the butterfly valve 5 are made of metal, and by forming protruding and denting means (protruding pieces 8a, 8b) in an overlap zone where, when the butterfly valve 5 is inserted into a slit hole 8 of the valve shaft 4 to a predetermined position, the valve shaft 4 and the butterfly valve 5 face each other, the protruding and denting means fastened with a screw to bite into an object.
