FILAMENT NONWOVEN FABRIC, OIL ABSORBER OBTAINED BY USING THE SAME, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING FILAMENT NONWOVEN FABRIC

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filament nonwoven fabric that has oil absorption properties and bulkiness and does not cause a dropout problem of short fibers, an oil absorber obtained by using the same, and a method for producing a filament nonwoven fabric.SOLUTION: The nonwoven fabric is formed of filaments. The filaments include fibers having a relatively thick fineness and fibers having a relatively thin fineness. The center of the fineness distribution of thick fibers is two times or more of the center of the fineness distribution of thin fibers. The oil absorber is obtained by using the filament nonwoven fabric. The method for producing a filament nonwoven fabric includes: melt-extruding at least two kinds of polymers having different melting points from a spinneret; blowing the extruded fibers with a pressure fluid; and forming the blown fibers into a sheet.
