<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paving screed to be used for a road surface finishing machine.SOLUTION: A paving screed (1) includes: a base screed (2) whose operational width (26) is changeable by extension parts (3, 4) and/or bolt-on extensions (13, 14). The paving screed (1) includes: a base screen (2); extension parts (3, 4) or bolt-on extensions (13, 14); and a plurality of side plates (5, 6) respectively mountable on at least one outside edge section for determining the range of the operational width (26). The paving screed (1) is provided with reference elements (11, 12) for measuring the range of the operational width (26) on at least one of the side plates (5, 6), and characterized such that when the side plates (5, 6) are mounted on the outside edge section of any of the base screed (2), the extension parts (3, 4) and the bolt-on extensions (13, 14), the reference elements (11, 12) are detectable by one or more sensor parts (9, 10).</p> |
