PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved tire tester, an improved tire testing facility and an improved tire testing method.SOLUTION: A tire tester for optical testing of tires comprises: a housing having a mounting face on which the tire to be tested is mounted; a plurality of measuring heads, each having one measuring optical system, for testing the faces inside and/or outside the treads of tires; and a positioning device for positioning some or all of the measuring heads in their stationary and measurable positions. In order to improve such a tire tester, the measuring heads and the mounting face are so arranged as not to permit turning.
