PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine which is capable of discharging overflow stream out of a water tank without splashing electrical components located below the water tank.SOLUTION: An overflow port M is installed so that overflow is made from inside of a water tank 4 through to an outer box 2 at an overflow setting position of the water tank 4 in a washing machine with the water tank 4 in the outer box 2. Accordingly, as overflow is made to the outer box 2 via the overflow port M from the inside of the water tank 4, the overflowed water overflowed out of the water tank 4 is prevented from being splashed inside a base 1 and thus electric components such as a motor 19 for dehydration and a motor 15 for washing inside the base 1 are prevented from being splashed and electrical insulation of those electrical components are kept safe. |
