PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability on the sending of facsimile in a portable terminal.SOLUTION: A portable terminal 102 sets destination information indicating a destination to send facsimile, sets reading and sending information on the sending of the facsimile and reading of a document to be sent by facsimile, transmits a request to send the facsimile to an image forming apparatus, displays, when receiving a response that the image forming apparatus can send the facsimile, the details to instruct a user to set the document on a display unit, detects that the document has been set, reads, when receiving an instruction to send the facsimile from the user, the document together with the destination information and the reading and sending information, transmits an instruction to send the facsimile to the image forming apparatus, and displays a result of the sending of the facsimile by the image forming apparatus that has been instructed to send the facsimile on the display unit. |
