摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an organic photoreceptor that suppresses generation of uneven density in images and suppresses generation of image defects.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing an organic photoreceptor having an organic photosensitive layer on an intermediate layer is provided, which includes a process of applying a coating liquid for forming the intermediate layer, the coating liquid containing a binder resin dissolved in a solvent and containing first and second metal oxide fine particles dispersed in the solvent, on a conductive support to form a coating film, and drying the coating film. A Pe (Peclet) number, which is defined by numerical formula (1):Pe=(6πμEHR)/kT, relating to the first metal oxide fine particles is twice or more of Pe number relating to the second metal oxide fine particles. In the numerical formula (1),μrepresents a viscosity (Pa s) of a Pe number evaluation liquid 2; E represents a liquid film contraction speed (m/s) when a wet film of a Pe number evaluation liquid 1 is formed; H represents a wet film thickness (m) of the Pe number evaluation liquid 1; R represents a number average primary particle diameter (m) of the metal oxide fine particles; k represents a Boltzmann constant (J/K); and T represents a liquid temperature (K).</p>
