PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake pad which can reduce noise at braking, and a disc brake device.SOLUTION: A disc brake device comprises a caliper and a disc rotor 2. The caliper has brake pads 3, 4 which separate from and contact with the disc rotor 2 when slide-moved to a mounting. The brake pads 3, 4 have friction materials 31, 41 which are in slide-contact with the disc rotor 2, and back metals 32, 42. The friction materials 31, 41 are fixed to the back metals 32, 42. The back metals 32, 42 are formed into a flat plate shape in which a center member 82 arranged in the center of the radial direction K orthogonal to the rotation direction of the disc rotor 2 at the back metals 32, 42, and a pair of outside members 81 which are arranged at both ends of the radial direction K, respectively, with the center member 82 sandwiched therebetween are integrated. The stiffness of the center member 82 is set higher than the stiffness of a pair of the outside members 81. |
