PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anisotropic light diffusion film which has a high haze value and excellent light-diffusing property, in particular, light-diffusing property in a perpendicular direction of the film and can diffuse light without uneven luminance when an LED light source is used as a backlight light source.SOLUTION: The anisotropic light diffusion film has at least three layers which include an intermediate layer comprising a cyclic olefin resin, a polyethylene resin and fine particles, and an outer layer comprising an olefin thermoplastic elastomer on both surfaces of the intermediate layer; and the film satisfies the following requirements (1) to (4) described below. The film has (1) a haze of 75% or more and 90% or less, (2) a light diffusion angle of 5° or more half-value angle in a MD direction and 3° or more half-value angle in TD direction, (3) a random uneven pattern having a surface roughness Ra of 1 to 5 μm on an outer surface side of one outermost layer, and (4) a stripe uneven pattern having a peak-to-valley depth of 1 to 10 μm and an interval of 1 to 30 μm between peaks on an outer surface side of the other outermost layer. |
