PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice ball molding tool which can include a filling at an approximate center in a thickness direction of a rice ball, and does not cause a problem that rice around the filling is crushed by the filling when forming a rice ball, and furthermore a container housing the formed rice ball can be carried while a closed state is maintained.SOLUTION: A rice ball molding tool 1 has a mold 5 and a filling hole forming tool 50, the mold 5 has a first mold part 10, a second mold part 20, and a hinge part 30, an axis body part 42 is provided for a protruded part 40 on a flange part 16 of the first mold part 10, and an axis line L1 of the axis body part 42 is on an extended line of an axis line of the hinge part 30. The filling hole forming tool 50 has a handle part 52 having a hole part 52a and a measuring vessel part 54 provided for one end part of the handle part 52, and the filling hole forming tool 50 is freely rotatable around the axis body part 42 in the state where the axis body part 42 is inserted into the hole part 52a. In the mold 5, an engaging protrusion 28 is provided for an engaging hole part 18 for maintaining a closed state. |
