PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface treatment composition containing a fluorine-containing polymer, and capable of forming a layer having both high surface slipperiness and high friction durability.SOLUTION: A surface treatment composition contains a first compound (a reactive fluorine-containing polymer known as fluorine-containing silane polymer) and a second compound (a non-reactive fluorine-containing polymer known as fluorine-containing oil), in which a percentage of the first compound to the total of the first compound and the second compound in the surface treatment composition is 15 to 70 mass%.
