PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiple-redundant GNSS synchronization system.SOLUTION: Provided are a method and a device for global navigation satellite system (GNSS) synchronization of a plurality of base stations via a system node that communicates with the plurality of base stations. In the system node, time information is provided for the plurality of base stations, and received from the plurality of base stations. System time reference is generated on the bases of at least some of the time information. This makes the system time reference synchronize with external time epoch reference provided by the GNSS. If a base station cannot receive a GNSS service, the system node provides the time synchronization information for the base station and has the base station synchronize with the system time reference. The system time reference itself synchronizes with the external time epoch reference provided by the GNSS service. |
