<p>The present invention relates to a method for preventing noise interference in a dual tuner. The method for preventing the noise interference in a dual tuner according to the present invention includes the steps of: determining if a calculation value according to a specific algorithm employing a tuning frequency of a first (or second) radio frequency integrated circuit (RF IC) block, a bandwidth, and a first sampling frequency of a second RF IC block as parameters is less than a specific value; repeatedly performing the determination procedure from a second sampling frequency to an n^th sampling frequency if the calculation value according to the specific algorithm is the specified value; tuning a second (or first) RF IC block to a tuning frequency of the second (or first)RF IC block if the calculation value according to the specific algorithm is not less than the specified value; and tuning the first (or second RF) block to the tuning frequency of the first (or second )RF IC block. According to the present invention, the frequency of the RF IC block in use and the sampling frequency of the RF IC block which is not used are calculated to remove noise interference between two RF IC blocks. Accordingly, receiving performance in a present tuner system can be improved without additional construction for the removal of the noise interference.</p> |
