<p>Disclosed is a porous ceramic sintered body which is produced by molding and sintering a mixture that contains diatomite, a clay other than the diatomite and organic sludge. Also disclosed is a method for producing the porous ceramic sintered body, which comprises: a mixing step wherein a mixture is obtained by mixing diatomite, a clay other than the diatomite and organic sludge; a molding step wherein a molded body is obtained by molding the mixture; and a firing step wherein the molded body is fired.</p> |
