<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the single base propellant powders which are a composition friendly to human bodies and the environment and enable suppression of change with time in mechanical characteristics and combustion characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: The single base propellant powder includes a component (a) of nitrocellulose, a component (b) of a stabilizer and a component (c) of 3-20 pts.mass of a polyester-based plasticizer based on 100 pts.mass of the component (a). The plasticizer of the component (c) is preferably polyester of a number-average molecular weight of 500-10,000 having a chain portion represented by formula (1): [-O-CO-R-CO-O-R'-] (wherein R is a chain hydrocarbon group represented by C<SB>m</SB>H<SB>2m</SB>in which the carbon number of a main chain portion is an integer of 2 to 6; the carbon number extending to a side chain is an integer of≤2; R' is a chain hydrocarbon group represented by C<SB>n</SB>H<SB>2n</SB>in which the carbon number of a main chain portion is an integer of 2 to 8; and the carbon number extending to a side chain is an integer of≤2). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
