<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection method and an inspection device of an engine lubricating passage suitable for inspecting the lubricating passage of an assembling-completed engine without requiring an operation state. <P>SOLUTION: Lubricating oil is supplied to a main gallery of the assembling-completed engine via a pipe 4 as a supply passage by preset pressure or a flow rate from an oil supply device 1 as a lubricating oil supply device. A lubricating oil flow rate and lubricating oil pressure are measured when a flow rate change in the lubricating oil flowing in the supply passage is converged. Goodness or failure of a lubricating passage of the engine is determined based on the provided lubricating oil flow rate, the lubricating oil pressure or flow passage resistance of the lubricating passage of the engine determined from the lubricating oil pressure and the lubricating oil flow rate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
