PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface-emitting laser array having high reliability.SOLUTION: The surface-emitting laser array in an embodiment of the present invention has a layered structure which includes a plurality of mesa structures and is separated by a separation groove having two levels. The layered structure has a reflection mirror including a mixed crystal region; and the mixed crystal region is formed in a region parallel to the upper level of the separation groove.
