<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airfoil square umbrella that can land in the vicinity of a trouble generation point, even if direction control becomes difficult due to the occurrence of a trouble during gliding. <P>SOLUTION: The airfoil square umbrella includes: a canopy 2 which forms an airfoil by being filled with air; an article-mounting harness 5 which is hung to the canopy 2 via a plurality of cords 3, 4; a pair of right and left control lines 6R, 6L whose one-side ends are connected to rear edges at right and left ends of the canopy 2; and a pair of right and left line operating mechanisms 10R, 10L which have motors 13 operated by receiving power and reels 14 rotated by outputs of the motors 13, and adjust pull-down amounts of other-end sides of the control lines 6R, 6L between the canopy 2 and the harness 5. At the left-side line operating mechanism 10L, there is arranged a spiral spring 15 which always imparts to the reel 14 a force in a control-line winding direction in such a degree that rotation by the outputs of the motor 13 is not hindered. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
