PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light distribution control device which can securely prevent dazzling by right and left head lamps to a forward vehicle.SOLUTION: A light distribution control device includes: right and left head lamps R-HL, L-HL arranged on a vehicle; vehicle detection means (an imaging device) 5 which is arranged in a center of the vehicle in a vehicle width direction and detects a forward vehicle; light distribution control means (a lamp ECU) which controls light distribution of the right and left head lamps based on a vehicle position of the detected forward vehicle CAR1. The light distribution control means can control light distribution which forms a light shielding region so as not to dazzle the forward vehicle based on the vehicle position of the forward vehicle CAR1. Light distribution of an illumination region on an outer side (a right side) of the light shielding region in the vehicle width direction is controlled based on a right detection angle &thetas;r. Light distribution of an illumination region on an inner side (a left side) in the vehicle width direction is controlled based on a left correction angle &thetas;lh which is obtained by correcting a parallax angle &thetas;x generated between the head lamp and the vehicle detection means. |
