PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease a risk of erroneously rewriting a value of an important parameter that possibly damages a function of a communication device itself in a case of writing to a nonvolatile memory.SOLUTION: A communication device includes: data read/write means 105 writing data to a designated address of an EEPROM 101; data identification means 106 identifying whether the written data is read-only data or data indicating both read and write; parameter acquisition means 107 acquiring an address to which a device parameter is written from the EEPROM 101; and address allocation means 108 designating an address from/to which the data read/write means 105 reads/write data. If the data identification means 106 identifies the data written by the data read/write means 105 as the data indicating both read and write, the address allocation means 108 is configured not to allocate an address different by one bit in binary form notation from the address of the device parameter acquired by the parameter acquisition means 107 as the address of the data.
