摘要 The present invention address the problem of providing a negative electrode active material capable of improving the charge/discharge characteristics of a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary cell in which silicon-containing particles are used as the negative electrode active material, and a method for manufacturing the negative electrode active material. The method for manufacturing composite particles according to the present invention is provided with a mixing step and a heat treatment step. In the mixing step, a powder mixture is prepared by mixing particles having a silicon phase and a thermoplastic organic powder. In the heat treatment step, the powder mixture is heat-treated. The composite particles according to the present invention are obtained through the above method for manufacturing composite particles.
