<p>PURPOSE: A method for recovering and separating a metal from petroleum desulfurization waste catalyst is provided to recover valuable metals from the waste catalyst without poisonous materials at a temperature of 400 ~ 500°C. CONSTITUTION: A method for recovering and separating a metal from a petroleum desulfurization waste catalyst includes the following steps of: sintering the petroleum desulfurization waste catalyst at a temperature of 350 ~ 450°C for 2 ~ 4 hours; reducing metal oxide to the metal with a reducing agent for 2 ~ 4 hours; leaching the waste catalyst with a strong acid solution; separating the waste catalyst into a nickel solution and first residues; covering the nickel by adding an oxalic acid solution; sintering the first residues at a temperature of 350 ~ 450°C; recovering vanadium from a vanadium and molybdenum mixture; and recovering the molybdenum from the solution in which the vanadium is recovered.</p> |
