PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head-up display device which is useful for a driver to easily and reliably understand a relation between a current travel speed of a vehicle and a speed limit of a road where the vehicle currently travels, and a display unit.SOLUTION: On a combiner 17, a pair of first guide lamps (111c, 111d) are displayed side by side in positions adjacent to an HUD display region 107 by outgoing beams from a first light source (28c, 28d), and a pair of second guide lamps (111a, 111b) are displayed on an outside of the first guide lamps respectively by outgoing beams from a second light source (28a, 28b). Then, in accordance with a difference value between a current vehicle speed Vc and a speed limit Vref of a road where the vehicle currently travels, at least one of the number of the first light source and the second light source to be lit, a lighting period, and an order of lighting is changed. |
