PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base with high strength and shock resistance without large modification of a base housing itself.SOLUTION: An earth base 300E-1 comprises a base housing 100, an earthing terminal 150 and a holder 200. The base housing 100 has a base unit 110, a circular wall unit 120 standing up from a rim of the base unit 110, a projection cylinder unit 130 standing up from the base unit 110 and a hook for holder locking 140 (140a) shaped on an internal circumference side of a wall unit 140. The holder 200 is held in a space shaped by the base unit 110 and the wall unit 120. The holder 200 has a holder side engagement unit 220 engaging with the hook for holder locking 140 and restricting the shift to the standing direction of the wall unit relative to the base housing 100, and a holder side displacement suppression unit 230 preventing the displacement to the standing direction of the wall unit of the projection cylinder unit 130 by a force applied to the base unit 110 by abutting against a projection tip 131 which is a point of the projection cylinder unit 130.
