PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support device of a power cable connection part which stably holds the power cable connection part, in particular, when an axial force difference occurs in an offset part of a power cable, and to provide a support method.SOLUTION: The support device of the power cable connection part includes: a cable placement part where a connection part of a power cable is placed along an axial direction of the power cable; two or more fixing parts which are provided at both axial sides sandwiching a connection surface, with a conductor of the power cable is connected, and fix the power cable to the cable placement part; and a support part which supports the cable placement part from the lower side of the cable placement part. The cable placement part is formed so as to move relative to the support part in an axial direction and be restricted from moving relative to the support part at least in a power cable width direction. |
