<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To notify an operator that information before hibernation is to be lost.SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus includes: a storage device; receiving means; first determination means; storage means; second determination means; and notification means. The storage device stores therein information that is stored in a memory just before current supply stops due to hibernation. The receiving means receives identification information for identifying the storage device from the storage device at a time of activation. The first determination means determines whether a setting for restoring information that is stored in the storage device at the time of activation to the memory is made. The storage means stores therein identification information in a storage unit that can hold information even if the current supply stops if the first determination means determines that the setting is not made. The second determination means determines whether the identification information that is stored in the storage means at a time of previous activation matches the identification information received by the receiving means if the first determination means determines that the setting is made. The notification means notifies an operator that the second determination means determines that the two pieces of the identification information do not match.</p> |
