<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic analyzer capable of suppressing deterioration of analytical precision by suppressing occurrence of reagent dispensing failure caused by swinging and bubbling of reagent liquid accommodated in a reagent container.SOLUTION: An automatic analyzer includes a control unit which; defines a liquid level detection-based descent control mode, in which a liquid level of a regent accommodated in a reagent container is detected and a stop position for a reagent dispensing mechanism in a descending motion thereof is controlled based on a result of the detection, and a drive signal-based descent control mode, in which a stop position for the reagent dispensing mechanism in a descending motion thereof is controlled based on a control signal for controlling motion of a drive unit for driving the regent dispensing mechanism in up and down directions; and selectively uses either the liquid level detection-based descent control mode or the drive signal-based descent control mode based on a rotation angleθwhich is a variable that defines a conveyance state of the reagent container being conveyed by a reagent disk.</p> |
