The present invention provides an intraocular-lens-inserting instrument that makes it possible to guide an intraocular lens into the eye while stably holding the lens and preventing the lens from exiting the eye during insertion of an intraocular lens into an incision narrower than in the prior art. The intraocular-lens-inserting instrument is provided with a substantially tubular body for housing an intraocular lens, a tip opening provided in the tip of the body, and a substantially flat-plate-shaped protrusion provided at the tip of the tip opening, and is constructed such that the open end face of the tip opening forms an inclined surface inclined relative to a plane perpendicular to the central axis of the body and a tip region having a pair of side walls substantially parallel to each other on either side of the central axis is provided at the tip opening. |
