PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply device of a communication apparatus for measurement, in which measurement and communication can be continuously performed and measurement and communication are performed for a long period of time.SOLUTION: A power measuring radio apparatus 3 for measuring power consumption of equipment of a building and transmitting the measured result to a totalization terminal apparatus includes: a detachable driving battery 4 for supplying power to the power measuring radio apparatus 3; an electric double layer capacitor 3F which is an auxiliary power supply installed in the power measuring radio apparatus 3 and is charged by converting current acquired by an auxiliary power supply CT type current sensor 5 attached to a distribution line 1 into voltage; a power monitoring circuit 3E for measuring an output voltage of the driving battery 4 and a discharge voltage of the electric double layer capacitor 3F; and a charge/discharge changing-over switch 3I for connecting one of the driving battery 4 and the electric double layer capacitor 3F as a driving power supply of the power measuring radio apparatus 3 in accordance with a voltage value measured by the power monitoring circuit 3E. |
