PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of recovering light oil from coke oven gas with reduced power consumption at low running costs.SOLUTION: A light oil-containing absorption oil, or an absorption oil containing light oil, is obtained by bringing an absorption oil into contact with coke oven gas to cause light oil in the coke oven gas to be absorbed by the absorption oil. The light oil-containing absorption oil is vacuum-distilled in a distillation column with the pressure controlled with a roots-type vacuum pump to recover light oil from the light oil-containing absorption oil. The vacuum distillation is carried out while injecting, into the roots-type vacuum pump, cleaning liquid for washing away impurities contained in the gas vacuum-sucked into the roots-type vacuum pump. |
