PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inorganic particle contained in a heat-resistant insulating layer, whose cycle characteristics become excellent even if a separator with a heat-resistant insulating layer is applied to a battery.SOLUTION: A separator with a heat-resistant insulating layer includes a porous base body and a heat-resistant insulating layer arranged on at least one surface of the porous base body. The heat-resistant insulating layer contains an inorganic particle whose α-alumina fraction is 95 mass% or more and BET specific surface area is 15 m/g or less, and an aqueous or water-dispersed binder. A void ration of the heat-resistant insulating layer is 45% or more. |
