PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new carrier for treating a fluid which is excellent in water settleability, microorganism immobilization and the like and is applicable to a liquid other than water or a fluid such as gas.SOLUTION: There is provided an extrusion foam containing 30 to 95 wt.% of a polyolefin-based resin and 5 to 70 wt.% of a hydrophilizing agent of a cellulose-based powder, wherein the surface of the extrusion foam has a melt fracture state and the hydrophilizing agent is exposed or protruded to the surface. |
