PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator hoist lifting method capable of transporting a hoist easily into a hoistway and lifting the same into a machine room without disintegrating the cage of a car during renewal construction.SOLUTION: In a lifting method, a hoist 8 having a carriage 9 for new construction is transferred by utilizing a car in a transport step from a carry-in floor of a building through the inside of a hoistway 6 onto the floor of an upper operation floor 11, and a lifting guide rail 10 is so attached in a rail mounting step that it may be horizontally supported on a support member 12 fixed between elevator guide rails 7 and on the floor face of the operation floor 11. In an opening forming step, an opening 5 is formed in the floor of a machine room 1, and a lifting device 2 is disposed in an installation step in the machine room 1. After this, by using an electric winch 3 mounted on the lifting device 2 through the opening 5 and a winch rope 4, the hoist 8 is guided in a transfer step to the rails 10 and transferred inside the hoistway 6, and lifted into the machine chamber 1 through the opening 5 in a lifting step. |
