摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for more accurately performing abnormality determination of the temperature rise function of an electric heating type catalyst provided for a hybrid vehicle, using an exhaust temperature sensor arranged on the downstream side of the electric heating type catalyst in an exhaust passage.SOLUTION: OBD means for self-diagnosing the abnormality of the temperature rise function of the electric heating type catalyst for the hybrid vehicle acquires the output of the exhaust temperature sensor when energizing the electric heating type catalyst at a fixed voltage (S105) during steady motoring of an internal combustion engine by a motor (S102) and determines that the temperature rise function of the electric heating type catalyst is abnormal (S109) when a temperature obtained on the basis of the output of the exhaust temperature sensor is outside a predetermined range (S107).
