A base station for transmitting, to a terminal device, control information containing an error detection code, in which masking is applied to predetermined identification information, in a wireless communication system, the base station having: a generation means for generating a second set of information which matches the length of the predetermined identification information when the length of a first set of information, which is masked by the predetermined identification information in order to generate the error detection code, does not match the length of the predetermined identification information; and an error detection code generation means for generating an error detection code in which the second set of information is masked by the predetermined identification information when the second set of information was generated. |
